What To Expect From Your Dentist Visit
You can expect to receive prompt attention during your visit to the dentist. Dr. McCool will spend time discussing your goals and concerns. Together you will plan a course of treatment to help you achieve a healthy, beautiful, long lasting smile.
Our examination includes:
- Dental x-rays
- Periodontal screening (for gum disease)
- Dental caries (cavities) screening
- Occlusal analysis including examination of the TMJ and jaw position
Emergency Dental Care

If your emergency is taking place during normal office hours, we will do our best to accommodate you quickly. For emergencies during non-office hours, please call and receive further information from our answering service.
Dental Insurance and Payment Options
Many of the procedures we offer are covered by dental insurance. As a courtesy, we will submit all claim forms to help you maximize your dental insurance benefits.
We take dental health very seriously and we will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. We offer interest free financing for qualified patients. Payment can be made by check, cash or major credit card.
Appointments and Office Policies
Dr. McCool is currently accepting new patients. Whether you are new to Lilburn and need to find a dentist or just want to make a change, we are confident you will find the care you need with us. Appointments can be made by calling 770.450.4407 or by scheduling online.
If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 24 hours notice. We ask for this advance notice so that we can offer this appointment to another patient. A fee may be charged if a patient does not show up for an appointment without sufficient notice.
